MEET OUR STAFF


Executive Director: Lori Garrard

Lori Garrard is the Executive Director of the Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank. She was born and raised in beautiful Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, moving to Oregon to attend George Fox University. She has resided in Klamath Falls for the past 27 years.

While in Klamath County, Lori has worked in local government, most recently coming from the Oregon Tech Foundation where she was part of a team that supported the university and student success.

Lori is excited to be part of the Food Bank as she looks forward to making a positive impact on our community by helping others in need and making a difference in people’s lives by providing essential resources.

Lori and her husband, Mike, are the proud parents of five children who have blessed them with five perfect grandchildren. Lori is an avid reader, quilter and lover of all things with glitter.


Operations Manager: Courtney Nichols

Courtney Nichols has been with the Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank for nearly six years, moving from the front office to her current position as the Operations Manager.  With a strong background in retail, Courtney excels in building meaningful relationships with the community, supporters, and partner agencies. Born and raised in Klamath, she is deeply committed to her hometown and its residents.

Outside of her professional life, Courtney enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two children, three dogs, one cat, and two goats. She is also an active member of the 4H community, reflecting her passion for community involvement and support.

Front Office Administrator: Megan Anderson


Megan Anderson is the Front Office Administrator at the Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank. She was born and raised in Newport, OR before moving to Winnemucca, Nevada with her husband Eric, where she taught Preschool at her church. During their 12 years there, they were blessed with 3 daughters. She started at the Food bank shortly after making the move to Klamath Falls in 2020. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at her kids’ school and sporting events, gardening, reading books, camping and hunting.

Megan has many roles as the Front Office Administrator. She greets every person that walks in the door whether they are dropping off a donation, or are in need of a helping hand, she has all the resources needed. She is also the Volunteer Coordinator and the Food Drive Coordinator.


Accountant: Courtney Fine

Courtney Fine is the Accountant of the Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank. She was born and raised in Klamath Falls. She currently has 10+ years of accounting experience, while working towards her bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Courtney enjoys bowling, camping, reading, and watching her daughter do gymnastics.


Warehouse Coordinator: Jon Cummings

Originally from Bakersfield, California, Jon Cummings moved to Klamath Falls in 2021 after a 22-year career in the oil and gas industry. Since then, he has dedicated himself to serving the community as the Warehouse Coordinator at the Klamath and Lake Counties Food Bank. With three years of experience at the Food Bank, he enjoys collaborating with the amazing staff and volunteers, and takes pride in making a positive impact on those in need.


Warehouse Assistant: Kaleb McCall

Kaleb McCall is the Warehouse Assistant at the Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank. Born and raised in Klamath Falls, Kaleb, 24, has lived here his entire life. He’s been with the Food Bank for over a year and loves his job—every single part of it; from keeping the warehouse organized to picking up donations from generous supporters and local grocery stores, he’s proud to serve the place he calls home.

Kaleb especially enjoys putting together food boxes for the Klamath Cancer Treatment Center and Hospice agencies the Food Bank supports. In his free time, he spends as much time with his friends and family as possible.


Order Builder: Aaron Burkhart

Aaron Burkhart is the Order Builder at Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank. From his beginnings in Idaho, he brings his admiration for hard work and a job well done to KLCFB. He takes pride and happiness in knowing that the food lists he builds and sends out are helping those in need.

Aaron enjoys baking cookies, heavy metal music, book shops/libraries, and road-trips with his wife, Amanda.


Driver: Gary Miller

Gary Miller was a welder and precision sheet metal mechanic in the computer manufacturing industry for 25 years and had his own welding shop for 7 years. In 2001, Gary moved with his family to Klamath Falls and worked for the forest service for three years and then the county road department for three years. Gary has been with the Food Bank for the past 17 years.

Gary says that luckily for him, all of his coworkers are fun to with and that makes the time go fast. At the Food Bank he drives a truck, picking up donations from stores in towns. He also does maintenance jobs around the Food Bank warehouse and completes projects to improve the facility.

Gary gets the most satisfaction from his job by helping people get a better variety of food for themselves and their families by talking to the stores and letting them know what kinds of products the Food Bank can accept for donations.
