"Flip Stop Badge Buttons"
Nurse Tina Mulder had an idea to keep hospital employees badges out of the way of patients and paperwork with a simple magnet and a little fun. She donates 20% of proceeds from the sale of these little gems. Thanks Tina!!!
iFeed, Inc.
Kaitlin Gruenberg, senior at Henley high school, donated $1660 to the Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank via her non-profit corporation, iFeed inc. The food bank will yield nearly 20,000 pounds of food with this gift.
iFeed inc.'s goal is to help support other local charities that give food to those in need through raising funds and donating them. So far iFeed inc. has donated 157 lbs. of food to the food bank, sold cookies to raise funds for the food bank, and is now donating funds raised through association with the Klamath Falls Gems baseball team. This year iFeed inc. is attempting to double what they raised last year.
WOW! At this rate Kaitlin may be running the food bank when I retire :)

"Cans for Cuts"
In December, the Klamath Lake Counties Food Bank teamed up with 18 local salons for a fundraiser aptly named “CANS FOR CUTS.” Throughout the month of December participating local salons collected 718 pounds of food and $570.74. The monetary donations allowed us to yield about 7,500 additional pounds of much needed food!
In a friendly competition, the winning salon…Avalon Great Clips this year…was awarded the beautiful 4’ trophy. This "roaming" trophy will be presented each year to the salon that collects the most food and funds. Thanks to all the salons that participated and to all the salon clients who so generously donated:
